The name ANODOS comes from the Greek words ana (upward) and hodos (path). It represents our desire for all persons related to the “vessel” that is ANODOS to ascend to the next stage. Having a company name which means “the upward path” also sends the message that there is no end to the path we are travelling on. The word itself is also famous as the word on which Michael Faraday based the name for the electrode, anode. Just as anodes are indispensible for diodes and batteries, we hope to be considered irreplaceable to society. This desire is also included in our company name.
